Start in 2026 SummerChicago Sport and Social Club is seeking a Sport Operations & Management Intern for Summer 2026. The intern will gain practical experience in the execution of adult sports leagues, including league setup, equipment logistics, and event operations.

Responsibilities
Setting up and breaking down league fields, courts, and event spaces
Transporting, organizing, and maintaining league equipment and supplies
Distributing, collecting, and storing equipment before and after games
Assisting with on-site league operations during game play
Supporting referees, staff, and participants with immediate operational needs
Troubleshooting real-time issues related to equipment, facilities, and game flow
Assisting with staff coordination and on-site supervision during league play
Providing front-line customer service to participants and staff
Assisting with league logistics such as schedules, locations, and game-day operations
Supporting larger tournaments and special events on designated weekends
Completing additional physical and operational tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to lift, carry, and transport sports equipment (up to 30–50 lbs)
Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods
Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
Evening availability and select weekend work are required
