The Limited Scope Radiologic Technician Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the program's operations, teaching courses, advising students, and ensuring compliance with educational standards.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the Limited Scope Radiologic Technology program, including daily operations and instructional delivery

Teach assigned courses and serve as a substitute instructor as needed

Schedule classes, assign instructional staff, and secure qualified substitute instructors when necessary

Lead and participate in faculty meetings, trainings, seminars, and departmental meetings

Advise students on academic, attendance, and behavioral matters; monitor GPA and Rates of Progress; support and document interventions for at-risk students

Support student learning by facilitating the application of didactic instruction to practical and clinical experiences

Address student grievances in a timely and professional manner

Ensure compliance with Department of Education, accrediting agencies, and all applicable to federal, state, and local regulations, including Virginia Department of Medicine requirements

Assist with curriculum development and audit instructional materials to ensure current and approved usage

Participate in employee onboarding and mentoring to support a positive institutional culture

Perform additional duties assigned by campus leadership

Directly supervises all Limited Scope Radiologic Technology faculty and staff
