3+ years expAmrize is seeking a Control Room Operator to monitor kiln and mill operations, systems, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and production standards. You will play a key role in maintaining efficient plant operations and high-quality product output.

Responsibilities
Continuously monitor plant processes through control systems, visual observation, and recordings
Ensure kiln and mill operations meet company, MSHA, and environmental standards
Monitor laboratory test results and take corrective actions to meet quality and production goals
Manipulate controls to maintain optimal production rates and prevent equipment damage
Detect and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports per established procedures
Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities for cost savings in operations, maintenance, and repairs
Keep work areas clean and organized
Work rotating shifts, including overtime, as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Demonstrate a commitment to safety, health, and environmental policies, promoting a culture of safety
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
3–5 years in cement operations
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications
Strong math and logical reasoning skills
Adherence to all safety protocols, including the use of Amrize-approved PPE and respirator requirements (clean-shaven for proper fit)
