Responsibilities

Perform calculations and evaluations in the design of structures such as multi-building complexes, datacenters, manufacturing, and industrial facilities
Assist in the performance of structural analysis and design for projects
Perform increasingly complex calculations and analysis as the structural design is developed
Work with Designers to get the structural requirements communicated on paper and in the model
Develop understanding of principles of analysis and design of vertical and lateral structural systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards
Check their own work and reach out to peers and seniors for guidance when questions arise

Required

In pursuit of a degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, AutoCAD and Revit
Previous relevant internship experience or Structural Engineering Research

Preferred

3.0+ GPA
In pursuit of a Master's degree in Structural Engineering
Previous experience with STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
Familiarity with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
