Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

Talent Bridge is seeking an Instrumentation / Electrical Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical power, control, and instrumentation systems within a cement manufacturing environment. The role supports safe and reliable plant operations through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and collaboration with internal teams and contractors.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical and instrumentation systems, including motor control circuits, low- and medium-voltage equipment (up to 13.8 kV), drives, analyzers, and control systems
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and corrective repairs on electrical and instrumentation equipment
Read and interpret electrical schematics and perform instrumentation calibration
Utilize digital and analog PLC systems for diagnostics and troubleshooting
Route, splice, and terminate low- and medium-voltage electrical cables
Perform basic mechanical tasks related to electrical work (e.g., non-critical welding, laser alignment)
Conduct routine walk-by inspections and diagnostic assessments
Maintain accurate documentation; plan, organize, and prioritize work assignments
Coordinate and work safely with contractor personnel
Participate in formal training, on-the-job training, and cross-training initiatives
Perform additional duties as assigned to support plant operations
Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and actively promote a culture of safety

Required

High school diploma or GED
2–4 years of industrial electrical or instrumentation experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
General knowledge of electrical theory and electrical safety principles
Ability to operate electrical testing and diagnostic equipment
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and basic mathematical skills
Effective computer and systems skills

Preferred

Technical college coursework or degree in a related electrical or instrumentation field
Experience in industrial manufacturing or process environments
