Responsibilities
Prepare and complete intermediate to advanced accounting transactions for client financial statements
Create and post journal entries, ensuring expenses, receipts, distributions, funding requests, and period transactions are accurately recorded
Produce, review, and deliver monthly financial reporting packages to clients and internal stakeholders on schedule
Review and audit funding and payment requests for accuracy, documentation, and authorization
Respond to and resolve complex accounting queries from clients and internal teams
Identify potential risks or discrepancies and take proactive corrective action
Support the tracking and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics
Apply accounting standards, policies, and best practices to solve routine and moderately complex problems
Collaborate with team members and contribute to the quality and accuracy of shared deliverables
Clearly communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders when required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree preferred, with 2–5 years' experience in accounting or finance (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and reporting standards
Ability to analyze issues, apply sound judgment, and recommend appropriate solutions
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong skills across Word and Outlook
Highly organized, detail-focused, and naturally curious
Strong numerical ability, including calculating percentages, fractions, and other financial metrics
