This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental performance, leading safety initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
Promote and lead a safety-first culture across all site activities
Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions
Perform audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
Oversee contractor safety performance and site activities
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures
Lead incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action planning
Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct drills
Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training
Identify training needs and coordinate safety education programs
Monitor and apply evolving safety practices, technologies, and regulations
Communicate safety and environmental expectations across stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial construction or manufacturing environments
OSHA safety training or equivalent
Proficiency with office productivity tools and enterprise systems (e.g., document management and maintenance platforms)
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and contractors
Ability to work safely in an industrial environment
Ability to use required personal protective equipment, with reasonable accommodations provided as required by applicable law
