Regional Technical Manager

Amrize is seeking a Regional Technical & Quality Manager to oversee technical, quality assurance, and quality control operations across the region. This role ensures product excellence, compliance, and safety while managing regional quality teams and laboratories.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute regional technical strategies and plans in collaboration with the Regional Technical Director
Oversee product testing, ensure qualified personnel perform tests according to standards, and monitor performance using statistical analysis
Manage product approval processes, including specification review, submittals, and pre-placement conferences
Lead regional QA and QC functions to meet internal and customer specifications while ensuring safe and compliant operations
Train and manage laboratory and quality personnel, ensuring testing accuracy, equipment calibration, and adherence to corporate and industry standards
Collaborate with production, sales, and technical teams to improve materials, processes, and product lines, balancing quality, cost, and profitability
Identify and resolve quality issues, control nonconforming products, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Respond to customer concerns, share updates on new technologies and practices, and maintain effective communication with internal teams
Track and analyze product nonconformances, reporting trends and corrective actions to senior management
Promote and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies, fostering a culture of safety

Required

10+ years relevant experience required
EIT required
In-depth knowledge of concrete, construction aggregates, cement, pozzolans, admixtures, and related materials
Strong management, leadership, and people skills
Advanced problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Proficient in computer systems and software applications
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Must adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE (respirators may require clean-shaven compliance for fit testing)

Preferred

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil Engineering preferred)
15+ years relevant experience preferred
PE preferred
