The role requires a strong blend of hands-on technical expertise and architectural leadership to translate business requirements into effective solution designs.

Responsibilities
Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign in collaboration with the Engagement Manager
Produce detailed functional design documents aligned with customer and business requirements
Partner with Technical Architects to develop technical specifications for custom development and systems integration
Recommend current best practices and third-party solution alternatives as part of solution design
Lead and participate in design and technical solutioning meetings with cross-functional teams
Support training design, documentation, and delivery efforts
Influence stakeholders to align on optimal architectural solutions
Perform code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to standards
Balance technical alternatives against business, financial, and operational constraints
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in solutions architecture
10+ years of software development experience
Strong ability to understand business requirements and translate them into solution designs
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field
Java
Modern database technologies
Integration software and concepts
Preferred
Experience in Financial Services environments
Knowledge of: Web-based systems architecture, Service-oriented and enterprise application architecture, Security, resiliency, and integration/EAI technologies
Hands-on experience with some of the following: Java/J2EE, C++, .NET, RESTful and SOAP services, JSON, XML, Frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Struts, Database technologies including Oracle, MySQL, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, and stored procedures
Cloud technologies
Software security
Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and implementations
