Responsibilities
Lead and mentor crews of carpenters and apprentices
Oversee all phases of residential construction, including framing, drywall, trim, cabinetry, siding, and window/door installation
Execute home additions, kitchen remodels, and whole-home renovations
Interpret architectural drawings, scopes of work, and material lists
Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to meet project timelines and quality standards
Ensure job site safety, organization, and cleanliness
Track project progress and resolve challenges proactively
Support team development through coaching and feedback
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience; foreman or leadership experience preferred
Proven ability to lead crews and manage job site workflows independently
Knowledge of residential construction practices, tools, and materials
Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
Ability to interpret blueprints and work orders accurately
Basic proficiency with email, text, and project management tools
High school diploma or GED required
Personal carpentry tools required; reliable transportation needed
Preferred
Construction Supervisor License (CSL) preferred but not required
