Responsibilities
Being a Role Model: You'll inspire and guide young minds as a positive role model, setting the foundation for their future
Curriculum Facilitation: Implementing age-appropriate curriculum and weekly lesson plans written by the classroom Teacher to support early childhood development
Child Safety: Prioritizing the safety and security of our children by diligently following safety procedures
Parent Communication: Fostering positive relationships and open communication with parents by providing updates and answering questions
Organized Environment: Help to provide a clean, organized classroom and equipment to create a quality learning environment
Crisis Response: Being prepared to handle unexpected situations and emergencies promptly and effectively
Team Player: Actively participating in staff meetings, contributing your valuable insights and ideas
Qualification
Required
Individuals who embody the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility
Preferred
Prior experience working in an early childhood or educational setting
CPR & First Aid Certification and Child Abuse prevention training will be completed within 90 days of hire and are provided by the YMCA
