Responsibilities
Coordinate shop drawings with detailing and field teams
Perform field measurements, layout verification, and constructability reviews
Track design changes and manage RFIs, submittals, and quality documentation
Support fabrication through purchase orders and scheduling coordination
Prepare monthly AIA billing applications and manage change orders
Coordinate directly with engineers, architects, and inspectors
Plan steel erection activities, including labor scheduling and safety compliance
Manage logistics such as equipment coordination, permits, and site access
Ensure QA/QC standards, inspection readiness, and punch list closure
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 5 years of experience in structural steel fabrication and erection
Ability to interpret contracts, specifications, and technical drawings
Site Safety Training (SST) certification or ability to obtain as required by site regulations
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to work onsite in Albertson, NY
