Responsibilities

Handling all day-to-day shipping functions including packaging, labeling and communicating with freight forwarders for pickups

Creating the documentation required for export compliance

Receiving and processing production, expense, RMA (returned material), and virtual items

Participating in cross-functional teams devoted to efficiency, cost-reduction, inventory reduction, inventory turns, and quality

Monitoring key performance indicators to ensure achievement of goals

Evaluating problems and making initial recommendations for possible corrective action

Other projects, duties, or cross-training responsibilities as assigned

Required

High school diploma or GED

US Person (ITAR requirement)

5 years of experience in warehousing / shipping / receiving / distribution including knowledge of UPS and FedEx online shipping system

International and freight forwarding shipping experience. Familiarity with export regulations. Possesses dangerous goods certification or willing to get certified. Experience filing with AES for international shipments

Experience in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50+ lbs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to adhere to schedules, follow instructions and work independently
