Aqua Finance, Inc. is seeking a Director of Accounting Operations to oversee customer, vendor, and dealer accounts payable. This position requires a process-driven leader to streamline processes, ensure operational excellence, and build sustainable processes to support the company's growth.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of Accounts Payable professionals, including people leaders, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and continuous improvement

Responsible for customer refunds for add-on services and overpayments, vendor accounts payable, employee travel expense reimbursement, and dealer funding

Collaborate with Treasury, external bank partner, and accounting to manage bank accounts and wire activity to support structured finance transactions

Oversee unclaimed property escheatment and vendor 1099 process

Manages state license, franchise, sales and use tax processes

Ensures controls are designed appropriately and operate effectively

Assists with lender and financial audits

Identifies and implements automation for process efficiency

Develops and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of operational processes

Represents accounting in cross-company growth initiatives and system modernization projects

Works with Compliance and Legal to ensure regulatory requirements are met
