Manufacturing Engineer II (Operations Integration Engineer)

Confidential company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support engineering and manufacturing activities. The role involves developing materials, coordinating with suppliers, and overseeing manufacturing builds.

Responsibilities

Develop engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) in ERP management software
Identify and quote manufacturing methods, materials, and components with suppliers
Monitor ordering and receipt of materials
Coordinate shipping of engineering parts (e.g., sterilization, test houses)
Material intake, inspection, and documentation
Manage trade compliance activities
Coordinate engineering and production builds
Identify process steps and draft manufacturing work instructions
Draft build requests and develop protocols with manufacturing facilities
Develop, review, and approve design control, compliance, and process documentation
Travel up to 20% as required

Required

Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or related)
Experience with MS Office suite
Must be located within the contiguous United States

Preferred

Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience writing technical documentation, protocols, and reports
Experience developing and conducting manufacturing validations
Experience with quoting new materials and components with suppliers
Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing setting
Knowledge of GD&T and BOM structure/setup
Experience in regulated industries, preferably medical devices
Experience working in project teams or matrix organizations
Experience with MS Project or other Gantt tracking software
Preferably located within travel distance to the primary office
