Responsibilities
Architect, develop, and implement highly specialized IT architecture for mission-critical systems
Serve as the Storage Infrastructure Architect ensuring stability and performance of enterprise systems
Perform system health checks for key platforms, including: Kafka, SAMQFS, ZFS, ESXi, Splunk, OpenDuty, Nagios
Independently analyze, develop, test, implement, and maintain complex web, mainframe, and client–server technologies
Architect, deploy, and manage systems software, hardware, and related infrastructure
Provide advanced technical support for the development, installation, and maintenance of operating systems and subsystems used in mission-critical environments
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for designing, creating, installing, and maintaining system software support components
Continuously tune systems for optimal performance and reliability
Track, analyze, and manage system capacity and performance
Ensure system stability and operational readiness
Train and advise Systems Programmers I & II and provide expert-level technical assistance to cross-functional teams
Collaborate with other technical units, acting as both a resource and SME
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience with SAMQFS
10+ years of experience with SL8500
10+ years of experience with ACSLS
10+ years working with Clemson – USCalifornia DRBS relationship
Bachelor's Degree in Math, Science, or a Technical Field
Preferred

C Programming
Splunk
ESXi
