Responsibilities
Lead the design and deployment of scalable, secure, and resilient hybrid cloud solutions in on-premise, Azure, and M365 environments
Develop comprehensive cloud strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements
Architect complex file systems and data management solutions to optimize access, security, and performance based on business needs
Implement and manage data governance technologies in collaboration with the information security team (e.g., Varonis, Microsoft Purview, DLP) to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with firm and regulatory requirements
Define and enforce data protection policies, access controls, and audit mechanisms across all firm systems
Design network infrastructure and application architectures to enhance user experience, performance, and availability
Collaborate with security teams to ensure cloud solutions are secure, compliant, and protected against evolving threats
Utilize strong skills in optimization, monitoring, and reporting to elevate the team’s management of the environment using data-based decision-making
Continuously assess cloud infrastructure for opportunities to optimize performance, cost, and reliability
Implement monitoring, alerting, and reporting tools to proactively manage cloud resources and detect potential issues
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, legal, and business units, to align cloud initiatives with organizational goals
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to IT staff on cloud architecture best practices
Qualification
Required
Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Nerdio experience
Microsoft Intune Management experience (Autopilot, Autopatch, Intune Policies)
Azure/Entra Identity Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
Conditional Access Policy
Microsoft Authenticator
Azure virtual networks, peering, and routing

Azure Site Recovery/Zerto (optional)
