Responsibilities
Lead plan production efforts for underground utilities, including water, sewer, and stormwater systems, using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Interact with clients, including local municipalities, ODOT, contractors, and other consulting companies
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to integrate utility designs into overall project plans
Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and cost estimates
Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards
Work closely with other technical staff within Choice One Engineering to provide underground utilities design and consulting engineering services
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Civil Engineering
EIT certification
P.E. license or in the process of obtaining P.E. license
3-15 years experience in utility design
Very responsive and a strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines
Continuous learning mindset
Preferred
Working proficiency of AutoCAD Civil 3D
