Marketing & Communications Assistant
Alliance Bank is seeking a Marketing & Communications Assistant to provide essential support to their marketing and communications team. The role involves assisting with internal communications, content creation, event preparation, and administrative tasks while promoting the bank's products and services.

Actively sell and cross-sell bank services
Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly service
Promotes Alliance Bank’s culture through all interactions modeling the Alliance Bank way of Customer Experience
Draft and distribute internal memos, intranet updates, and employee feature stories
Assist with content development for the internal monthly magazine (Memo Post), including drafting and layout support
Prepare intake requests for website updates and review for accuracy before submission
Support social media and content initiatives by capturing photos, writing highlights, and posting internal updates
Provide light creative support, including simple graphics, image resizing, and formatting for digital and print materials
Review agency dashboards and reports for accuracy
Summarize agency data when requested for leadership or departmental use
Assist with event preparation, including materials, signage, and packet assembly
Gather assets for agency requests such as bios, photos, and content

Support marketing tasks for various departments (CRA, Treasury, Mortgage, Digital Banking, Debit Card Program)
Help with marketing-related onboarding for new employees, including press releases, social posts, and welcome communications
Keep updated on all Alliance Bank policies and procedures pertaining to this position
Attendance and punctuality are a must
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalency
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language, bilingual helpful
Ability to offer Alliance Bank's products and services
Three (3) years of experience in banking or job-related field and one (1) year of training and/or education in the field or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or administrative support
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and have the ability to deal with and respond to employees, customers, third-party vendors, and salespersons with tact, diplomacy, and a sense of urgency
Ability to deal with sales representatives and determine the appropriateness of their presentation before granting any further action
Highly detailed-oriented with the ability to organize, schedule, and prioritize tasks, projects, and responsibilities as well as certain departmental functions to improve efficiency
Ability to communicate well over the telephone using proper grammar and telephone etiquette
Ability to operate basic office equipment including a PC with job-related software
Ability to handle bank and customer transactions with a high level of confidentiality
Knowledge of state and federal regulations
Knowledge of Alliance Bank's products and services
Schedules are prepared based on business needs and are subject to change at any time. This may include the need for evenings, weekends, or holiday coverage
Office setting with moderately varied desk-oriented activity
Repetitive movement of finger, wrist, and hand
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, and kneel
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Attendance and punctuality are a must
