Entry, Mid LevelInfo Way Solutions is seeking a Dev Research Engineer to work closely with the e-Powertrain system design team. The role involves identifying and mitigating technical risks, developing validation plans, and collaborating with local and global teams to ensure system readiness and performance forecasting.

Responsibilities
Collect risks identified in DFMEAs, sort them by RPN (Risk Priority Number = likelihood × severity), and help identify simulation or physical test activities (bench, lab, full machine) to mitigate those risks within cost and time constraints
Develop and refine validation plans, balancing technical risk reduction with program timelines and budgets
Gather readiness summaries from component and subsystem teams
Create concise validation status slides for NPI Gateway reviews
Maintain and manage issue lists for various ePt programs
Forecast defects per unit and create proactive reliability curves to predict system performance and durability over product life
Work in an office environment, collaborating with local and global teams. The validation team includes 2–3 experienced engineers who will guide the individual
Qualification
Required
Ability to understand detailed engineering discussions and translate them into common language for broader audiences
Ability to estimate duration and resource needs for test activities, including instrumentation and logistics
Ability to listen to and learn from more experienced engineers, and willingness to implement their suggestions
Required for fuel systems, engines, full machines, or vehicles. Desired for electric drivetrain systems
Ability to interpret and act on risk assessments
Experience in planning and executing validation activities, including simulation and physical testing
Understanding of how subsystems interact within the e-powertrain configuration
