They are seeking a 1st Shift Punch Press Die Setter / Operator responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment with Progressive Dies, Compound Dies, and Single-Hit tooling.

Responsibilities

Safety - knowledge, understanding and ability to follow lockout/tagout procedure/program, press guarding, pullbacks and PPE
Stage work site and prepare press of setup - follow procedures and setup area for production
Prepare die(s) for installation
Setup press and install die(s)
Prepare and adjust uncoiler and straightener
Make a quality piece part
Run production when all machines have been setup
Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Punch Press OperationMetal Stamping ExperienceBlueprint ReadingMath SkillsSafety Procedures

Required

Basic blueprint reading
Basic reading and math skills
At least 5 years Punch Press Operator experience in a Metal Stamping environment
