MikeWorldWide (MWW) is seeking an Account Supervisor or Director to lead multiple workstreams for high-profile accounts. This role involves project management, overseeing junior staff, and executing communications programs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple workstreams while supporting the practice’s most high-profile accounts
Serve as the “hub” of the account team, bringing excellent project management and execution of client programs
Coordinate and oversee junior staff and help drive client deliverables
Manage conflicting priorities, demonstrating excellent judgement and attention to detail
Develop and execute communications programs that mobilize stakeholders to action
Communicate complex issues and information to broader audiences
Work with a multi-talented team conducting programs in a wide range of disciplines and industries
Participate in client-facing meetings virtually and in person within the New York Metropolitan Area

Proven ability to distill and communicate complex issues and information to broader audiences
Understanding of the modern media ecosystem, including fluency in social and digital media
Client-facing experience
Participation in meetings virtually and in person within the New York Metropolitan Area – primarily in New Jersey

Preferred

Agency experience (or the equivalent)
Capabilities in media relations and account management of multi-faceted communications
Experience in a communications role in government, politics or public policy
Experience in Healthcare – hospitals, health systems, pharma, biotech, benefits plans
