Responsibilities
Full-cycle accounting for approximately ten mixed-use commercial retail and office properties, including month-end close, financial statement preparation, and year-end close
Ensure mortgage, real estate, insurance, and utility payments are made accurately and on time for assigned properties
Prepare common area maintenance billings, water billings, and percentage rent billings in a timely manner for all properties
Participate in other projects as assigned within a proactive team environment
This is an onsite position; the selected candidate will be expected to commute to the office five days per week
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
2+ years of accounting experience, including GAAP knowledge and general ledger fundamentals such as accruals and prepaids
Experience with M3 accounting software, Sage, or a comparable ERP system
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
High attention to detail
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with a team-player spirit
