Accounting Clerk
Responsibilities
Prepare customer invoices and statements
Customer and/or Vendor Creation and Maintenance
Reconcile payments with invoices
Filing of notice to owners, liens and sworn statements of accounts
Make outbound collection calls and/or send emails, for delinquent accounts/invoices
Process Customer credit applications, for review by Division Controller
Vendor’s Bank information verification via Phone (for ACH payments)
W-9 Report for weekly payment run
Update Weekly A/R Aging Report
Provide Customer/Vendor Support, including but not limited to billing inquiries, payments, invoices, ticket copies, statements, etc
Additional duties, as assigned
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
Billing Software Experience, such as SAP
MS 365 Proficiency (Outlook, Word and Excel)
Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with Managers and fellow employees
Proficient computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
Knowledge of journal entries a plus
Ability to analyze information
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage efficiently and accurately, consistent/time sensitive workload
Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial policies
Communicate in both written and spoken English
Preferred
2+ years accounting experience is preferred, but not required
Notary Credentials or ability to obtain
