Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and data integration workflows using SAP BODS
Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and design solutions
Implement and optimize data transformation processes for data migration, data quality, and data warehousing
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data through monitoring and troubleshooting ETL processes
Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation activities as part of the ETL process
Create and maintain documentation for SAP BODS jobs, workflows, and processes
Collaborate with other teams (DBAs, BI, and Data Warehouse teams) to implement end-to-end data integration solutions
Participate in performance tuning and optimization of existing SAP BODS processes
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data governance policies
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing, transformation, and data quality
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT for SAP BODS solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
years of hands-on experience in SAP BODS development and implementation
Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data modeling, and data warehousing
Proficiency in SAP BODS Designer, Data Services Management Console, and other relevant SAP BODS components
Experience with SAP BODS data transformation, data profiling, and data cleansing techniques
Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and/or SAP HANA
Experience with scripting and writing complex SQL queries for data manipulation and extraction
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and business stakeholders
Preferred
Knowledge of SAP BI and SAP HANA is a plus
