Responsibilities

Set and enforce operational standards, policies and procedures to maximize uptime, reliability, efficiency and safety
Manage FM/vendor contracts and service provider performance
Lead budgeting, OPEX control and cost-optimization initiatives
Provide design and operability input on new builds and expansions (power, cooling, security, BMS/EPMS, CMMS)
Own customer technical engagements, pre-sales / RFP support and SLA delivery
Drive energy efficiency, PUE improvement and sustainability/ESG alignment
Oversee preventive/predictive maintenance strategies and rapid incident resolution
Serve as the primary operational liaison to hyperscale and enterprise customers
Build and lead cross-functional operations, engineering and site teams; support M&A due diligence and asset strategy

Required

Bachelor's in engineering (electrical, mechanical, controls) required; advanced degree or PE strongly preferred
10+ years in data center/critical facilities with direct operational oversight at colocation, hyperscale or equivalent
Proven success delivering builds, rapid scale-ups and managing high-density GPU/HPC environments
Deep technical knowledge of power systems, cooling, BMS/EPMS, and facility controls
Strong financial acumen, contract/SLA experience and executive presence
Experience engaging hyperscale customers and managing high-stakes operational SLAs

Preferred

Familiarity with AI/GPU cluster workloads preferred
