Responsibilities

Design and own an AI-first documentation strategy for the product organization

Define how AI is used to generate, update, and maintain product documentation across its lifecycle

Build and maintain documentation systems where: Product inputs come from PMs, Engineers, and Designers AI produces first drafts, summaries, and updates Humans review, refine, and approve where needed

Partner with Product Managers to structure inputs so AI can reliably generate high-quality documentation

Define prompts, templates, taxonomies, and information architecture that enable consistent AI output

Establish clear quality bars and review workflows for AI-generated content

Act as the editor, curator, and system owner, not the primary author

Oversee documentation across: Product strategy narratives and overviews Platform and system documentation Feature and capability documentation API and developer documentation in collaboration with Engineering Product Operations playbooks and internal processes

Continuously improve documentation quality by refining prompts, structures, and workflows

Ensure documentation stays current as the product evolves by leveraging automation, not manual rewrites
