Responsibilities
Utilize your knowledge in engineering design principles to develop innovative solutions for transportation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Create high-quality preliminary and final plans and drawings using a variety of software platforms, including Bentley/MicroStation and Open Roads Designer (ORD)
Adhere to established CADD production standards for transportation projects, including the production of 3D renderings and meticulous file management procedures
Assist with the processing and analysis of field survey data, collaborating with design teams to ensure that all information is accurately captured and integrated into design plans
Conduct field visits to conduct traffic counts, line of sight analysis, guardrail review, and other field investigations
Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to facilitate seamless communication and coordination on projects
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in CADD and engineering design
Contribute to process improvements and the adoption of new tools and techniques that enhance productivity and project outcomes
Occasionally participate in client meetings and presentations, showcasing your designs and discussing project progress
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma is required
3-5 years of experience in Bentley/MicroStation drafting, demonstrating a strong command of design software and techniques
Experience with Open Road Designer (ORD) and 3D Modeling is required
Preferred
A BS/BA in a related or a degree in Computer-Aided Design & Drafting is preferred
