Responsibilities

Responsible for the business development and maintenance of all customers in assigned region
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue and profit growth with each customer
Collaborate across sales, finance, operations, marketing, and product management to ensure business goals are met
Train customers and sales partners in product specifications, features, and applications
Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing Danby’s brand and value proposition
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to adapt sales strategies accordingly
Supports accounts in their sales efforts by recommending merchandising, product advertising, and new products
Provide oversight, review, and follow-up with customers and distributors regarding proposals, target lists, and product pipelines
Manage CRM tools to ensure accurate tracking of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities
Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events relevant to regional territory accounts
Collaborate with Buyers to ensure the forecast plans are accurate and maintained throughout the year

Required

Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager or similar role, with specific experience in distribution and/or buying groups. Minimum 5 years experience
Experience in the appliance sector is considered an asset
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze sales metrics and data to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments
In-depth understanding of the sales process and dynamics, particularly in relation to distributors and/or buying groups
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Monthly travel to NE, IL, MI and occasional travel to TX, SD, MN as well as tradeshows is required
