Lead Salesforce Developer
High Trail is a higher education institution seeking a Lead CRM Developer to enhance their Salesforce ecosystem. This role involves leading the design, development, and optimization of Salesforce solutions while mentoring the CRM Developer team and collaborating with stakeholders to meet business needs.

Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of Salesforce solutions aligned with business and user requirements
Serve as a technical leader and mentor to the CRM Developer team, promoting best practices and code quality
Collaborate with functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce architecture
Develop and maintain custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and OmniStudio
Design and implement integrations using Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP services, and external systems
Oversee data migration, system enhancements, and platform optimization initiatives
Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, platform limitations, and security standards
Support ongoing enhancements to the CRM platform to meet the evolving needs of students, faculty, and staff
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or equivalent professional experience
Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce development, including: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, OmniStudio, Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) and integrations, Data migration and system optimization
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, best practices, and design patterns
Proficiency in web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into functional solutions
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated leadership or team-lead experience
Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or II certification (or equivalent experience)
Preferred
Experience with advanced Salesforce products such as: Einstein Analytics, Salesforce CPQ, Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement)
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and modern deployment practices
Experience with Salesforce Communities and Education Cloud
Exposure to higher education CRM environments and their unique workflows
