Sr Analyst, Maintenance Planning
American Airlines is a leading airline company, and they are seeking a Senior Analyst for their Maintenance Planning division. This role focuses on supporting long-range strategic initiatives related to flight schedules, resource planning, and workload measurement in the Line Maintenance division.

Responsibilities
Analyzes schedule, manpower, training and task impact on the Line Maintenance workload at the system and station level based on advanced data analysis
Ensures the maintenance resources are proper for the flying levels shown in the various flight schedules
Leads discussions with internal departments, including Network Planning, Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) and Line Maintenance field stations in planning for and tracking workload levels at the stations
Leads project teams on various workload/schedule topics, including workload manpower standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline or related experience
3 years of related experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral and strong interpersonal skills
Comfortable doing data analysis in Excel and building presentation packages in PowerPoint
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects concurrently
Preferred
A&P license or exposure to aircraft maintenance preferred
Exposure to scheduling and routing
Data table and algorithm building, using Python and/or R
