Responsibilities
Responsible for coaching and mentoring their direct reports. Motivate staff and hold them accountable to achieve sales, service and operational and compliance goals and expectations
Responsible for developing short- and long-term strategic planning goals for assigned area
Responsible for the successful business development of their geographic area, which includes business planning and attaining goals
Contacts customers, businesses, community and civic organizations to promote goodwill and generate new business
Responsible for CRA activities within your branch network’s geographic area
Assesses risk of all financial transactions executed
Ensures that branch staff maintain compliance with all procedures and regulations and remains up to date in their knowledge of all pertinent procedures and regulations
Customer Service- Assist customers with account inquiries, resolve problems, open accounts, cross-sell, maintenance of deposit accounts, incoming and outgoing wire transfers. Responds promptly to customer needs
Oversee the flow of cash and financial instruments in accordance with bank policy and guidelines
Decision overdraft accounts in accordance with Freedom Bank policy
Responsible for scheduling and covering the branches’ Saturday hours
You will be required to participate in networking, sponsorship and community events in the evenings or weekends
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 3+ years of related experience in a financial institution
Knowledge of relevant Federal and State banking regulations
Thorough knowledge of procedures and policies with respect to banking transactions
Ability to effectively coach, develop and manage staff to performance expectations
Ability to fairly evaluate others on their performance and take corrective action when necessary
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
While office hours vary by location, branch employees must be able to support the following: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm; Saturday, 8:30am-noon
Preferred
Branch Management: 3 years
Working knowledge of COCC, Insight a plus
Bilingual, Spanish speaking
