Epic Application Analyst (Orders)
Optimum Healthcare IT is seeking an Epic Application Analyst (Orders) to provide advanced application support as part of their Managed Services program. This role focuses on complex incident resolution, build and configuration updates, and ensuring application data integrity.
Responsibilities
Resolve escalated Priority 3 and 4 incidents and interface issues related to Orders
Execute break/fix changes, system testing, and quality assurance testing
Support application and interface maintenance, including updates, patches, and regulatory changes
Manage service requests, backlog tickets, and reporting as defined in scope
Collaborate with vendor support for issue resolution, updates, or enhancements
Maintain and update documentation including user guides, build specs, and functional design
Monitor and ensure application data quality and integrity
Perform root cause analysis and identify trends in incident and request volume
Provide knowledge transfer and mentorship to Tier 1 analysts
Qualification
Required
Must have Current Epic Orders Certification
3- 8 years of Epic application support experience in Orders
Demonstrated experience supporting application build, maintenance, and testing
Working knowledge of clinical or operational Epic workflows
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Experience collaborating with interface teams and vendors for issue resolution
Understanding of HIPAA, security, and regulatory standards in healthcare
