Responsibilities
You’ll own high-value PI files from intake through resolution:
Run cases from pleadings through trial (with first- and second-chair opportunities depending on experience)
Lead written discovery, depositions (plaintiffs, defendants, experts), mediation, and trial prep
Develop case themes, build damages models, and push liability/causation narratives that move the needle
Collaborate closely with a trial-oriented leadership team that is happy to strategize on tough files
Qualification
Required
California-licensed plaintiff PI attorney
3+ years of experience
Comfortable running a litigation docket and pushing files toward trial, not just settlement
Solid deposition and mediation skills
Preferred
Trial experience (or clear trial appetite)
Builder mindset—excited to help shape processes and contribute to the firm's continued growth
