Responsibilities
Land use and zoning research
CEQA research and assistance
Preparing planning and entitlement exhibits
Creating residential lotting and street layout concepts
Supporting master planning and Specific Plan preparation
Drafting tentative maps and site design concepts
Coordinating with public agencies and project consultants
Qualification
Required
Graduating soon or recently graduated with a degree in City and Regional Planning or Landscape Architecture
Basic understanding of planning and land development terms, methods, and principles
Familiarity with land use, zoning, and CEQA concepts (coursework acceptable)
Understanding of basic design principles and practical site design
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest in community design, sustainability, and public engagement
B.S. in City and Regional Planning, BLA in Landscape Architecture, or a related field from an accredited university
Must be authorized to work in the United States
