Responsibilities
Lead the Company Combustion Committee
Act as the Company Subject Matter Expert (SME) for combustion equipment and processes
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for the safe operation of applicable combustion systems
Establish company policies and procedures related to maintenance and operation of the company’s combustion systems
Specify and develop combustion training curricula
Measure/monitor combustion related risk across the company’s platforms and coordinate mitigation activities risk with plant and corporate stake holders
Support the development of engineering and reliability standards related to combustion equipment
Lead targeted efforts to improve the reliability and performance of combustion systems
Support regulatory compliance with air emission requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate technical field
A minimum of 10 years' experience in combustion related engineering and maintenance
Demonstrated working knowledge of appropriate standards (NFPA 86, 54, etc.)
Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
Ability to perform approximately 50% of the job function in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions and 50% of the job function in an industrial plant environment where there is exposure to operating machinery and a manufacturing environment
Preferred
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) and/or Certification as a Reliability Engineer (CRE)
Six Sigma expertise/certification
