Automotive / Systems Engineer - USMC Ground Tactical Vehicles
SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking an Automotive / Systems Engineer - USMC Ground Tactical Vehicles to support our Washington Area Operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.

Responsibilities
Conduct technical and engineering analysis related to tactical wheeled vehicles, trailers, and integration of various kits and systems
Supporting conduct of SE Technical Reviews for system-level and subsystem-level designs and ECPs
Supporting lifecycle of platforms from prototyping and detailed design, through production, fielding, and sustainment
Support systems integration, observation of multiple integrations on platforms, and support in development of Letters of Integration
Prepare and update technical documentation as outlined in accordance with the Defense Acquisition Guidebook and USMC SE policy and requirements., including, but not limited to, the SEP, TEMP, Live Fire Strategy, System Specifications, ICDs, RTMs, Functional Decompositions
Review technical data in accordance with ASME Y14.100 Standards as well as MIL-STD-31000 and provide technical assessments of vendor and Government test data
Support technical data management and configuration management per established processes
Work in a collaborative and team environment, and interface with Government functional leads, platform teams and lead engineers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineer Field of study or related discipline and 3+ years of relevant experience
Active Clearance or Eligible to Obtain - U.S. citizenship required
Preferred
Strong experience in Systems Engineering
Mechanical/automotive engineering capability and experience is preferred
Knowledge/background in military systems; ground vehicle experience preferred
Strong experience in engineering analysis, Technical Data Package (TDP) review
Ability to work independently and develop/review technical documentation with high quality and technical accuracy
Strong communication skills, ability to work on dynamic team, and directly support Government Project Leads and Engineers
CAD development/manipulation (Solidworks/ Creo); systems integration; human factors engineering; operational safety; and configuration management
