DevOps Engineer
Micasa Global is seeking a highly experienced AWS DevOps Engineer. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, working closely with development, QA, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM
Automate configuration management using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
Monitor system performance, availability, and security using AWS-native and third-party tools
Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident response
Ensure cloud infrastructure follows security best practices and compliance standards
Optimize AWS costs, performance, and scalability
Collaborate with application development teams to support DevOps best practices
Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues
Mentor junior DevOps engineers and participate in architectural discussions
Qualification
Required
8+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in AWS Cloud & DevOps
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ELB, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, Route 53
Expertise in CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, AWS CloudFormation
Hands-on experience with Docker & Kubernetes (EKS)
Proficiency in scripting languages: Bash, Shell, Python
Experience with Linux/Unix system administration
Good understanding of networking concepts (VPC, Subnets, NAT, Security Groups)

Prior experience working with federal client or federal contractor is needed
