Global Delivery Manager – Banking & Financial Services

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex programs across multiple geographies within the Banking and Financial Services vertical
Oversee delivery of multi-million-dollar engagements, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality execution
Manage cross-functional global teams spanning application development, infrastructure services, BPO, and digital transformation
Serve as the primary delivery interface for CXO-level stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and contractual commitments
Drive governance, risk management, and service excellence through robust delivery frameworks and metrics
Collaborate with account management, pre-sales, and solution teams to shape proposals, define delivery models, and support new business pursuits
Ensure strong financial management of projects, including forecasting, revenue recognition, and margin optimization
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging automation, analytics, and agile methodologies to enhance delivery efficiency
Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure service integration and consistent client experience
Qualification
Required
12–18 years of experience in IT services and consulting, with at least 7 years in delivery leadership roles
Proven track record of managing large, complex, multi-tower engagements (Application, Infrastructure, BPO) worth $10M+ annually
Strong domain expertise in Banking and Financial Services—Retail Banking, Capital Markets, Payments, or Insurance preferred
Hands-on experience in global delivery management, offshore–onsite coordination, and distributed team leadership
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to engage senior executives (CIOs, CTOs, COOs)
Proficient in program governance, SLAs, KPIs, and delivery metrics
Solid understanding of contract management, financial control, and commercial frameworks
Exposure to digital transformation, cloud migration, or modernization programs is highly desirable
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus
Preferred
Strong domain expertise in Banking and Financial Services—Retail Banking, Capital Markets, Payments, or Insurance preferred
PMP, ITIL, or Agile certifications preferred
