Senior Energy Marshal
NEO Mission Critical is a turnkey data center contractor seeking a Senior Energy Marshal to lead hazardous energy control and electrical safety for a large-scale, mission-critical data center construction project in Texas. This role requires expertise in hazardous energy isolation and electrical safety within high-risk environments, ensuring compliance and safety throughout the project.
Responsibilities
Lead and enforce the project Hazardous Energy Control Plan (HECP)
Serve as the site authority and SME for hazardous energy isolation and electrical safety
Develop and manage centralized LOTO programs (group & individual)
Coordinate energy isolation activities without disrupting operations
Participate in High-Risk Activity (HRA) planning and review SOWs, SOPs, and MOPs
Support incident investigations, audits, and continuous improvement efforts
Verify training, qualifications, and PPE compliance for all isolation work
Produce monthly safety and compliance report
Qualification
Required
10–12+ years of technical engineering or field experience
Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Master Electrician–level knowledge or equivalent
Strong understanding of NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910.147, and mission-critical environments
Ability to read electrical drawings and understand system redundancies
Preferred
Data center or large-scale infrastructure experience
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, switchgear, UPS, and generators
Experience with hazardous energy beyond electrical (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical, thermal)
