Responsibilities

Investigate complex navigation and routing scenarios, determine root causes, and engineer solutions that optimize autonomous vehicle mission performance
Build tools and automation to accelerate analysis - starting with manual workflows and progressively evolving them into scalable, repeatable systems
Develop mission planning algorithms, including graph search techniques and integration with behavioral planning components
Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of software components

Required

6+ years of industry experience working on large, production-level codebases
Autonomous Vehicle (AV) and/or robotics experience
Mission Planning and experience investigating navigation or routing problems
Experience building tools that evolve from manual workflows into scalable, automated systems
Experience implementing or working with mission planning algorithms (e.g., graph search, behavioral planning)
Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and one or more of the frontend frameworks/libraries like React/Vue.js/Angular
Basic C++ knowledge
Experience with Linux and systems programming
Strong Full-Stack Software Development experience (database, front-end and back-end systems)
Experience with build systems, version control, and testing methodologies
Bachelor's degree in an engineering, mathematics, or related field

Preferred

Understanding and experience with a variety of graph search techniques (A*, D*, Dijkstra)
Strong proficiency in C++
