Responsibilities

Manage and support daily payment operations, including transaction monitoring, reconciliation, settlement review, and generating reports on merchant or processor accounts

Investigate and resolve payment issues, including failed transactions, chargebacks, returns, and discrepancies between internal ledgers and external systems

Serve as a technical liaison between engineering, finance, and operations, ensuring payment systems function smoothly and accurately

Support engineering in maintaining integrations with PayFacs, gateways, processors, and banking APIs

Develop and maintain SOPs for payments, reconciliation, and transaction processing, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards

Contribute to internal tooling and automation, improving visibility, reconciliation accuracy, and reporting capabilities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

Strong experience with SQL, data manipulation, and financial reconciliation

Solid understanding of payment gateways, processors, and transaction lifecycle management

Experience with ledger and accounting systems, payouts, settlements, and chargeback processes

Hands-on experience with DevOps or technical operations in SaaS or financial environments

Familiarity with .NET, C#, REST APIs, and troubleshooting production payment issues

Proficiency with git and modern development workflows

Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, finance, and operations

Preferred

Experience with payment processors, merchant accounts, or banking APIs

Familiarity with Azure, Azure DevOps, and agile methodologies

Knowledge of PCI DSS or financial data security and compliance standards

Background in Payments, Fintech, or Banking

Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium) for validating system behavior or workflows
