Account Executive

Propensity is an account-based marketing platform that has quickly risen to be one of the top 3 ABM platforms. The Account Executive will build and manage client relationships, facilitate product demos, and drive revenue by presenting solutions and negotiating contracts.

Responsibilities

Manage the Sales Cycle - Take ownership of the sales cycle, which includes: pre-demo communication, conducting discovery calls and demos, contract negotiations, closing, and handoff to our customer success team. You will prioritize and organize your sales pipeline for maximum conversion
Tracking and Achieving Targets - You are data-driven and metrics-driven and relentless in exceeding your targets
Relationship Building - You will maintain close relationships and build a high level of trust with our customers to encourage referral growth. You will ensure our customers are receiving the best experience as they help us drive our acquisition and growth engine
Negotiation and closing: Negotiating contract terms and closing deals to meet sales targets
Reporting and analysis: Updating CRM for accurate sales reports, analyzing results, and monitoring market and competitor activity

Required

2+ years of proven B2B sales experience, including cold outreach, pipeline acceleration, and closing new business for an enterprise software company
Track record of overachieving quota in past roles
Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
“Hunter” mentality - this is a fast growth environment with ample selling opportunities
An entrepreneurial spirit - the idea of being an active participant in a growing company must excite you
Must be tech savvy and able to navigate a CRM and Sales tech stack (Apollo, Salesforce, Zoominfo etc.)
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Organization and time management skills

Preferred

Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing and previous experience working closely with marketing teams
Experience with B2B digital media sales
You are a scrappy, motivated team player, comfortable working at a high-growth company still defining certain sales processes and will actively contribute to filling in gaps and building out processes as needed
You ask the right questions to uncover customer requirements and clearly articulate how Propensity's ABM marketplace tools will address them
You partner well across the organization, regularly interfacing with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to maintain alignment and refine go-to-market strategy
