Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test plans to validate Kafka-based data pipelines
Perform message testing using JSON, Avro, and Kafka formats
Configure Kafka clients and troubleshoot Kafka-related issues
Validate data serialization/deserialization and ensure end-to-end data integrity
Develop and execute API test cases using Postman and Swagger
Perform manual and automated API testing, including performance and error handling
Write and execute queries in SQL, Oracle, and MongoDB based on data mapping logic
Validate API responses, status codes, and payload structure
Participate in agile ceremonies and manage work using Jira, Confluence, and Xray
Support CI/CD pipelines through continuous integration and automated testing practices
Qualification
Required
Apache Kafka (topics, partitions, producers, consumers, security)
API testing tools: Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI
Databases: SQL, Oracle, MongoDB
Test management: Xray, Jira, Confluence
Git version control
Strong knowledge of API testing methodologies and best practices
