Responsibilities
Lead architecture and technical direction across AI and platform systems
Evaluate product, architectural and model-level options before committing
Design and build scalable systems using TypeScript, Node, Nest/Express, React, Next
Work on: APIs, SDKs and no-code automation tools
Build and operate AI systems: Prompts, evaluations, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows
Full Infra & Distributed systems: Event (Pipelines, Streaming, Queues), Workflows, Durable Execution, Data Pipelines
Drive quality through design docs, reviews, and prior art research
Mentor engineers and improve team-wide architectural decision-making
Qualification
Required
Staff / Principal-level engineer with a track record of leading complex systems
Deep TypeScript experience across backend and frontend
Experience building production AI systems (prompts, evals, RAG, agents)
Strong system design breadth with sound trade-off judgment
Reliable, thoughtful collaborator who elevates team decisions
