Responsibilities

Serve as the subject matter expert for IBM mainframe and z/OS
Install, configure, and maintain z/OS and third-party tools (CA, BMC, Endevor, TopSecret, etc.)
Perform CICS administration, system tuning, and capacity planning
Manage mainframe storage, tape systems, and DR planning/testing
Support system upgrades, patches, and performance optimization
Collaborate with IT leadership on modernization initiatives (Linux, cloud readiness)
Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across mainframe systems

Required

10+ years as a Mainframe Systems Programmer in large-scale environments

Proven ability to lead complex infrastructure projects and provide technical leadership
