PKI Administrator

VDart BPM is seeking a PKI Administrator / Public Key Infrastructure Engineer responsible for designing, managing, and securing enterprise PKI services. The role focuses on Certificate Authority management, Active Directory integration, and platform authentication across Windows and Unix/Linux environments, collaborating closely with Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Outsourcing/Offshoring

Responsibilities

Manage and support Certificate Authorities (CA) and certificate lifecycle processes
Administer PKI services for authentication across Windows, Linux/Unix platforms
Implement and manage OCSP, LDAP directories, ICAM, MFA, and Two-Factor Authentication
Ensure certificate issuance, renewal, revocation, and audit compliance
Apply cryptographic principles including key management, encryption, tokenization, and data masking
Deploy and manage encryption technologies such as TLS, PKI, PGP, and HSM
Assess and implement data protection strategies and security controls
Identify system security vulnerabilities and support remediation and penetration testing efforts
Develop automation for PKI operations using Python
Create and maintain scripts using Bash, KSH, and PowerShell
Integrate PKI services with enterprise tools to improve efficiency and reliability
Work within Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Support continuous delivery and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for security services
Partner with Security, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless PKI integration
Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all organizational levels
Manage multiple initiatives with competing priorities and timelines

Required

10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure / Security Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with PKI, Certificate Authorities, and Active Directory
Deep understanding of cryptography and key management
Deep understanding of LDAP, OCSP, ICAM, MFA, and 2FA
Deep understanding of network and system security concepts
Experience with Linux/Unix platforms; Windows Server experience preferred
Knowledge of system vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
Proficiency in Python
Experience with Shell scripting (Bash, KSH) and PowerShell
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities
Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively
