Responsibilities
Develop automation solutions for proprietary process and manufacturing equipment
Program PLC and HMI systems using Siemens TIA Portal
Design control logic, sequences, alarms, and operator interfaces
Test, simulate, and debug software prior to deployment
Lead on-site commissioning and startup of equipment at customer facilities
Serve as the technical point of contact for controls within each project
Review project documentation and technical specifications
Create operating manuals and technical documentation
Train customer operators and maintenance personnel
Qualification
Required
Degree or technical certification in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Strong experience with Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal (or Allen Bradley with good exposure to Siemens)
Ability to manage multiple smaller projects in parallel
Independent, reliable, and structured working style
Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning
Preferred
Prior experience in controls, automation, or commissioning is a plus
