Responsibilities

Assist with limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer
Supports AECOM projects in the areas of contaminated sediments, soil and groundwater assessment and remediation, environmental compliance, regenerative remediation and sustainability
Collects and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. Assist with field activities for data collection
Identifies discrepancies in results
Assist the senior staff with field oversight of remediation activities
Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with supervision

Required

BA/BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology or related field + 0 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid U.S Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review
As a condition of employment, candidates must pass a drug screening
As a condition of employment, candidates must pass a medical screening
Willing to work in a hybrid work environment, with office presence for two days a week

Preferred

OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
Knowledge of CADD/GIS
Willingness to travel, complete field work, and work extended hours, when necessary
Knowledge of Mid-Atlantic States environmental regulations and setting
