Responsibilities
Prepare construction documents for new and redevelopment projects, including maps, computations, narratives, construction details, and specifications
Design all types of SWM facilities, including design on multi-phased development projects
Conduct construction observations for all types of SWM facilities and other related construction administration
Develop and execute stormwater operation and maintenance programs for entities owning large SWM assets
Production of final construction documents
Develop stormwater management concept plans
Conduct construction and maintenance inspections
Review construction administration
Develop local and state permit applications
Prepare technical reports
Research regulatory codes, manuals, and standards
Manage multiple projects and deadlines
Meet and coordinate with regulators to address comments and facilitate approval
Communicate effectively with team members
Manage clients and develop project schedules / workplans
Perform other duties as required
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 2+ years in the land development field
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or similar degree
Advanced Autocad skills
Strong mathematical/analytical skills
Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
Strong quality control skills and attention to detail
Preferred
Engineer-in-training certification
Professional Engineer license
Proficiency with H & H modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-1, HY-8, Flowmaster
Proficiency with ArcMap, or similar
